Nikki Giovanni Quotes
So today, my school had Nikki Giovanni as a bridge speaker between Black History Month and Women’s History Month. She’s so gorgeous and inspiring in person. Anyway, here are some quotes.
On the current war on women regarding various forms of contraception: “When did women become the enemy of children?”

She’s amazing. She came to UDC when I was taking [more] classes there in 2007. I was in awe. There were actually students who decided NOT to go see/hear her speak?? I couldn’t believe it.
She is amazing. And even better, she’s a member of my Sorority. Oo-oop!
She spoke at my college once, I got to speak with her briefly and shook her hand- she is tiny and a very powerful speaker!
