Another thing I don’t get?
Woman metal vocalists- such as Otep Shamaya- get so much shit for “distortion” on their voices.
Show me *one* guitarist who dosn’t have some kind of distortion pedal or other FX.

It’s from a documentary called “It Might Get Loud” which I love, but also depresses the shit out of me in places. Like when Jimmy Pages says you have to hold a guitar “like a woman” and I just want to beat him. Can we get the fuck out of here with the anthropomorphism of guitars as women and/or cocks please???
